Prince’s Trust is an accredited course and offers a wealth of varied opportunities for all our students whilst complementing our curriculum. All students in KS4 across Secondary and Reach are enrolled onto the qualification and complete across Year 10 and 11.
The Prince’s Trust offer a range of course to help support young people to develop essential life skills, get ready for work and access job opportunities. The ideology is to empower pupils to have more success in their jobs, educations and training.
At Sutton House Academy, our Reach pupils will be working towards their Personal Development and Employability Skills Certificate, learning skills around managing money, digital skills and career planning. Our Secondary pupils will be working towards their Personal Development and Employability Skills Certificate as well as their Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills Certificate during their Personal Development lessons. This qualification focuses on teamwork skills, planning for personal development, community project, supporting other people in the community and work experience.
